Cardinal and Gold Swim Meet

Dana Liva races in the 3-meter springboard during the Cardinal and Gold meet at the Beyer pool Oct 13.

After a rough first day at the Hawkeye Invitational, the Cyclones looked to make a statement on day two.

In the quarterfinal 3m-Championship dive, both Alex Aaberg and Jessica Coffin achieved personal accolades.

With Coffin setting a new personal record and Aaberg recording her best 3m score as a Cyclone, day two of the Hawkeye invitational was as a success but there is still room for improvement.

Redshirt Junior Dana Liva was the top scorer for the Cyclones once again, finishing 16th with a score of 247.35.

Finishing 31st, Alex Aaberg earned her best 3m score as a Cyclone with 210.00

Finally, Coffin set a personal record with a score of 176.05 finishing in 42nd.

Despite a great day personally for the divers, once again the Cyclones fell short of qualifying for the Final. The Cyclones will look to improve upon day two's performance at the last day of the Hawkeye Invitational Saturday.
