Clement: Health food

Now that the FDA has approved the Pfizer vaccine, many individuals who had claimed that they would only take the vaccine once it was approved have moved the goalposts yet again, forming spurious conspiracies about how quickly the drug was approved (it's been nine months) and claiming that they don't know what's in it. However, the people who raise these claims, particularly right-wing officials and pundits, have had no such qualms about recommending treatments of the experimental Regeneron, the fatal-in-high-doses Hydroxychloroquine, livestock dewormer and bleach over the course of the pandemic. It's unfortunate, but it seems that these people are willing to sacrifice a great deal of their base and the safety of the public just to score political points off of the Biden administration.
