The Government of the Student Body passed three funding bills on Wednesday night, Oct. 10, 2012, and formalized a debt contract with the Iowa State Wrestling Club.

The debt contract between GSB and the Iowa State Wrestling Club pertains to a loan from GSB to the club. The club is being loaned $802.15, which is to be paid back by the end of the spring semester. The debt contract also states the wrestling club will have to pay a two percent interest rate on its loan.

The Longboard Club was allocated $1,865.22 to update its current equipment. The funding will be used to pay for new safety gear and new longboards for the club.

The Gaffers Guild was allocated $4,506 to update its equipment and to purchase a new speed grinder. This was the first time in 15 years the club had come to GSB for funding.

The third funding bill passed was for $2,317.44 to be allocated to the Water-ski Club to cover travel costs to nationals.
