LETTER: Freeman concert will be a great show despite lack of famous names

I am, for the fourth year in a row, amazed by the promise of the Freeman Spring Concert.
This event has consistently brought in quality, relevant bands as well as showcasing local and regional talent. These concerts have focused on the quality of the bands rather than on one-hit-wonder name recognition.
This year's lineup appears to be no different.
I think it's important to acknowledge that in contrast to the disappointing Veishea musical selections of the past few years, the Freeman Alumni Committee has for the fourth year prepared a fantastic show that I am proud to host as part of the ISU community.
I would encourage all students to attend on April 19 and experience what a few dedicated ISU students can accomplish. I tip my hat to this year's concert organizers and wish them the best of luck in their final preparations.
