Massachusetts Sen. and former presidential candidate John Kerry will travel to Ames on Wednesday to discuss the importance of voting early.
Kerry, who is up for re-election in Massachusetts, will speak Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union.
The 24-year Senate veteran has endorsed his fellow democrat, Sen. Barack Obama, for president.
The event, “Why Wait until Election Day? The Importance of Early Voting,” is sponsored by the ISU Democrats and the committee on lectures.
