The Daily offers two standardized sizes for all of its Web site display advertisements.

Placement/Availability

There are a variety of locations you can place an advertisement on iowastatedaily.com. Almost every page on the Web site will have three ad locations available to clients that include one leaderboard and two medium rectangles.

Home Page/Custom Pages: These pages (which are not a section pages or section article pages, see below) include one leaderboard and two medium rectangle locations and will allow for five rotating advertisers in each spot for a total of 15 advertisement opportunities total.

Section Sponsor: Section sponsors are available for each of the Editorial sections on the Web Site (News, Opinion, FYI and Sports). These pages and all of the sections article pages include one leaderboard and two medium rectangle locations that will be sold to three individual sponsors on a non-rotation basis.

Pop-Up Content Sponsor: On select photo galleries and interactive games, (ask your sales rep for details) a leaderboard sponsorship ad location is available. When a reader clicks to view a photo gallery or play a game, the gallery or game will open in a separate window with the ad spot anchored at the bottom of the content and is visible as the reader scans the photo galleries or plays the games.

E-mail Edition: The Daily's e-mail edition is an HTML formatted message that looks like the Web site's home page. This e-mail has the same three ad locations (one leaderboard and two medium rectangles) as the Daily's Web site. These spots will be exclusively sold to individual advertisers on a non-rotation basis.
